  • Use bendroflumethiazide as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions. Bendroflumethiazide may be taken with or without food. When you first start taking bendroflumethiazide, it may cause an increase in urine or in frequency of urination. To prevent this from affecting sleep, try not to take any dose later than 6 pm. Continue to use bendroflumethiazide even if you feel well. Do not miss any doses. If you miss a dose of bendroflumethiazide, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
