Vitamin E is an antioxidant that occurs naturally in foods such as nuts, seeds and green leafy vegetables. Vitamin E is a vitamin that is dissolved in the fats important for many processes in the body.

Vitamin E is used to treat or prevent deficiency of vitamin E. People with certain illnesses may need more vitamin E.
