Alprazolam Intensol solution is used for:
Treating anxiety and panic disorder. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Alprazolam Intensol solution is a benzodiazepine. It works in the brain to decrease anxiety.
Do NOT use Alprazolam Intensol solution if:
you are allergic to any ingredient in Alprazolam Intensol solution or other benzodiazepines (eg, diazepam)
you have acute narrow-angle glaucoma
you are taking delavirdine, itraconazole, ketoconazole, or sodium oxybate (GHB)
Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.
Alprazolam is a white to off-white crystalline powder, which is soluble in alcohol but which has no appreciable solubility in water at physiological pH.
Each mL, for oral administration, contains 1 mg of alprazolam.
Inactive ingredients: propylene glycol, succinic acid disodium salt, and water.

Common side effects of Alprazolam Intensol include ataxia, weight loss, dysarthria, memory impairment, cognitive dysfunction, drowsiness, fatigue, constipation, weight gain, skin rash, difficulty in micturition, insomnia, anxiety, diarrhea, blurred vision, decreased libido, increased appetite, and decreased appetite.
