    If any of the following side effects occur while taking resorcinol / sulfur topical, check with your doctor or nurse as soon as possible:

    Less common or rare:
    Skin irritation not present before use of this medicine
    Symptoms of resorcinol poisoning
    Diarrhea, nausea, stomach pain, or vomiting
    headache (severe or continuing)
    nervousness or restlessness
    slow heartbeat, shortness of breath, or troubled breathing
    unusual tiredness or weakness
    Severity: Minor
    Some resorcinol / sulfur topical side effects may not need any medical attention. As your body gets used to the medicine these side effects may disappear. Your health care professional may be able to help you prevent or reduce these side effects, but do check with them if any of the following side effects continue, or if you are concerned about them:

    More common:
    Redness and peeling of skin (may occur after a few days)
    Less common:
    Unusual dryness of skin
